Chronic constipation and heart attack

Question : I am 46 years old. I have been suffering from improper digestion. About 7 ears ago, I used to suffer from severe constipation. I was toileting only once in two or three days. More or less at that time, I developed piles and bleeding. For the past about 6 years, I don't have any constipation. Nowadays, I have been toileting about two to four times daily. I have been having bad breath and high blood pressure. I am not fat, and I don't have a bulged stomach. I am well built and a bit big sized. Will I get heart attack ? Will I get diabetes ?

Answer : What you had as a severe constipation a few years ago was acute constipation. What you have now, ie., toileting soft, shapeless and slimy feces two or more number of times daily, is called chronic constipation.

If you have chronic constipation, you would have had bad breath, raised blood pressure, lack of appetite, indigestion, gas formation ( flatulence ) etc. This condition is not good for a healthy living.

Chronic constipation is brought about essentially because of the high protein diet, for it remains fermenting in the intestine for a very long time before it can be defecated. A process of putrefaction of such proteins brought about by bacteria produces bad smelling gas and several poisonous substances including what are called ptomains, mercaptans, hydrogen sulphide, etc.

If you continue this way, the chances of you getting a heart attack and/or diabetes is very great, the moment you say you are well-built and big-sized already shows that you are a 'truly' obese person.

In fact, a person with big and bulged stomach need not be truly obese. He could be fat with hanging flesh all around just because of overeating that is all ! Such a man tends to drink plenty of water and urinate most of it. Therefore, he will not get any heart disease or diabetes.

On the other hand, people of your kind, with hardened muscles because of under-urination, are the ones who would get heart attack. If you have been drinking plenty of water and under-urinating, with this kind of chronic constipation, you would get only diabetes mellitus.

If you have been under-urinating without drinking enough water, then with this chronic constipation, you would get both heart attack and diabetes mellitus. You will also get hypertension with the rest. In my opinion, you should consider changing the composition of your diet.
