Contents:
Per 5 mL
Triprolidine hydrochloride 1.25
mg, pseudoephedrine hydrochloride 30 mg, codeine phosphate 10 mg.
Indications:
Unproductive cough accompanied y
nasal congestion & congestion of mucous membranes of the upper respiratory
tract.
Dosage:
Adult & children
> 12 years 10 mL, 6-12 years 5 mL,
2-5 years 2.5 mL, 1-2 years 1.25 mL. To be taken three times daily.
Contraindications:
MAO inhibitors; severe
hypertension, coronary heart disease; bronchial asthma.
Special Precautions:
Uncontrolled diabetes, prostatic
enlargement; severely impaired renal or hepatic function. May impair ability
to drive or operate machinery.
Adverse Reactions:
Mild sedation, sleep
disturbances, urinary retention ( occasionally); rarely erythematous
nummular patches, lichenoid skin eruption.
Drug interactions:
Sympathomimetics, tricyclic
antidepressants, appetite suppressants, MAO inhibitors, amphetamine-like
psychostimulants.
