Alucid suspension
For Antacid and Anti-flatulent
INDICATIONS
• Alucid Suspension can be used
for relief of gastric pain, hyperacidity, flatulence and heartburn.
• Alucid Suspension will relieve
and control pain in the symptomatic management of gastric and duodenal
ulcers and reflux oesophagitis by neutralising hydrochloric acid in gastric
secretion.
• Alucid Suspension is also
suitable as a domestic remedy in conditions affecting the stomach which may
not necessarily be related to hyperacidity.
• Alucid Suspension comes with a
cooling and refreshing peppermint flavour.
CONTENTS
Each 10ml (2 teaspoonful) of
Alucid Suspension contains :-
Aluminium Hydroxide 800mg
Magnesium Hydroxide 800mg
Simethicone 60mg
Preservatives :-
Methylparaben 0.21%
Propylparaben 0.031%
DOSAGE
• Adult : 5 to 10ml (1 to 2
teaspoonful)
• Children : 2.5 to 5ml (1/2 to 1
teaspoonful)
To be taken between meals and at
bed time or as directed by physician.
SIDE EFFECTS
Constipation, diarrhoea,
intestinal obstruction might happen if a larger than recommended dose of
Alucid Suspension has been taken.
CONTRAINDICATION
Alucid Suspension should not been
taken by persons who suffer from severe renal function impairment.
PRECAUTIONS
Use with care in renal
insufficiency. Should not be used if symptoms of appendicitis are present.
Do not take within 1 to 2 hours of other oral medication as it may impair
their absorption. Please consult your physician if pain persists.
