Beacolux
Tablet Enteric Coated
BEACOLUX Tablet is a contact
laxative. When administered orally, it produces normal peristalsis by direct
action on the mucosa of the colon, usually resulting in a soft, formed
stool. It is devoid of serious side effects.
INDICATIONS
Constipation, bowel evacuation
before radiological procedures, endoscopy and surgery.
DOSAGE
Adult: 2 tablets taken at bedtime
in order to produce 1 or 2 actions the next morning. if taken half hour
before breakfast, the effect will take place about 5 hours later. In
stubborn cases of constipation the dose may be increased to 4 tablets.
Tablets should be swallowed
whole, cannot be chewed or crushed, should not be taken within one hour
after taking an actacid or milk.

CONTRAINDICATION
Intestinal obstruction that
requires surgery.
PRECAUTIONS
Best avoid in pregnant women.
PACKACING
BEACOLUS tablet is packed in
bottles of 30's and 500's.
Each tablet contains 5 mg
bisacodyl.
