Beacolytic
BEACOLYTIC TABLET/ELIXIR
Beacolytic contains Bromhexine
HCI. It is a mucolytic agent facilitating expectoration by reducing sputum
viscosity and relieving wet cough.
INDICATION
Reduction in sputum viscosity,
thus facilitate its removal by coughing.
DOSAGE
Adults and children above 12
years:
1 to 2 tablets three times daily
or 10 ml three times daily OR as directed by physician.
Children under 6 years:
5ml twice daily.
Children 6 to 12 years:
5ml three times daily OR as
directed by physician.
It's advisable to drink more warm
water.
SIDE EFFECTS
Gastrointestinal irritations,
transient increased serum transaminase.
PRECAUTION
Gastric ulceration
HOW SUPPLIED
Beacolytic Tablet: each tablet
contains 8 mg Bromhexine HCI. Supplied in bottles of 30's and 1000's.
Beacolytic Elixir: Each 5 ml
contains 4 mg Bromhexine HCI. Supplied in bottles of 100 ml and 60 ml.
