Naphazoline hydrochloride 1 mg,
chlorphenamine maleate 2.5 mg.
Common cold; allergic rhinitis;
1 or 2 application 4-5 times
daily in each nostril.

Chronic nasal congestion on
withdrawal (prolonged use). Concurrent administration with MAO inhibitors &
alcohol. Cardiac disease; diabetes; asthma; prostatic hypertrophy. May
produce drowsiness, impair ability to drive or operate machinery,
precipitate fits in epileptics (large doses).
gastrointestinal upsets, tachycardia; confusion; central nervous system
(CNS) & respiratory depression; rebound nasal congestion (prolonged use);
drowsiness; dizziness; dry mouth.
Sedative effects enhanced by
other CNS depressants. Atropine-like effects potentiated by other
anticholinergics, tricyclic antidepressants & MAOIs. Potential for
hypertensive crisis with MAOIs ( discontinue 14 days prior).
Hypertension with sympathomimetics. Antagonizes sympatholytics.
Nebuliser 14 mL
