Prince-B Fort

Princi-B Fort is a combination of the three essential neurotropic vitamin B group.

Composition

Each coated tablet contains:

Thiamine mononitrate 250 mg

Pyridoxine hydrochloride 250 mg

Cyanocobalamin 1,000 mcg

 

Indications

Princi-B Fort is indicated for neurological and other disorders associated with disturbance of the nerve cell metabolism in which high dose B complex vitamins play a role. They include:

- Polyneuritis ( of toxic and non-toxic etiology )

- Neuralgias e.g. Lumbalgia, Trigeminal neuralgia, shoulder-arm syndrome, Herpes Zoster, cervical syndrome, ischialgia, etc

- Diabetic neuropathic

- Metabolic and neuropathic changes due to pregnancy and oral contraceptives

- Convalescence

 

Dosage

Therapeutic dose : 2-3 tablets daily for 7-10 days.

Maintenance dose : 1 tablet daily.

Princi-B Fort should be swallowed whole, during or immediately after meals.

Do not take the tablets on an empty stomach.

 

Adverse Effects

Allergic hypersensitivity reactions have occurred rarely following he administration of the vitamin B12 compounds.

 

Contraindications

Past history of allergy to cobalamins. Known intolerance to Vitamin B1.

 

Incompatibilities

Levodopa

See drug interactions.

 

Drug Interactions

Vitamin B6 decreases the effect of levodopa.

 

Storage Conditions

Store below 25 C.

 

Shelf-life

2 years.

Box of 10's, 30's, 100's, 300's in blisters of 10 each.
