Formulation and Therapeutic

Properties

PROVITON contains highly concentrated Ginseng Extract IDB, prepared in specification to a special process of extraction which ensures its active ingredient, Ginsenoside Rg1 stays above 14%. The ginseng content is also standardised to ensure that the ratio between the 2 ginsenosides, Rg1 and Rb1, are consistent from batch to batch, ensuring the same potency and efficacy in each and every preparation. This is made possible by extraction from only the main root of genuine Panax Ginseng C.A. Meyer within the optimum performance age in the range of 4 to 6 years. The end product is totally devoid of pesticides, residual solvents and heavy metals.

Ginseng Extract IDB produces an 'adaptogenic' effect on mental performance and physical performance, thereby enhancing the adaptation capabilities of the organism when faced with mental and physical stress and strain.

PROVITON also contains high strengths of Vitamin B Complex. Vitamin Bs are involved in the various metabolic processes in the body to release energy.

Vitamin C and many of the B group of vitamins cannot be stored in the body. There are various situations where an individual requires supplementation for the B group of vitamins. These include coping under stressful conditions, recovering from infections and heavy smoking or drinking. women taking oral contraceptives tend to also require supplementation of the B group of vitamins.

A combination of other essential vitamins and minerals are included in the PROVITON formulation to ensure adequate and balanced supplementation of these important elements to the body. They help to overcome any possible deficiencies which may occur when there is increased demand such as during convalescence after illness, advancing age or stressful conditions which may result in poor appetite or poor absorption of nutrients. the vitamins exercise catalytic functions which facilitate the synthesis and degradation of the principal nutrients, namely carbohydrates, proteins and fats, thereby controlling metabolism. The minerals participate in many biochemical and physiological processes and are necessary for bodily functions and health.

Lecithin is made up of lipotropic substances which include choline, inositol, linoleic acid and linolenic acid and helps in the metabolism of fats in the body.
