Salviathymol NSalviathymol N

Plaque, periondontosis, caries ... daily protection by the healing power of nature
Especially after eating sweet dishes, sugar residues are deposited on our teeth. They provide ideal nourishment for harmful bacteria. These bacteria form an adherent coating on the tooth surfaces known as plaque. By gradual deposition of lime, this is converted into tartar.

The plaque bacteria release substances which can cause gum inflammation, among other effects. The gums gradually retract (periodontosis). The result is the formation of gum pockets, into which the bacteria penetrate deeper and deeper. Finally, the entire tooth socket, including the bone of the jaw and the socket lining, may be involved by inflammation. At this stage elaborate dental measures will be necessary to prevent further worsening. Yet this is not enough.

Matters must not be allowed to progress too far
Salviathymol N contains valuable natural ingredients from selected medicinal herbs. They are extremely active against harmful bacteria, they strengthen the gums, they combat inflammation, promote healing and alleviate pain. In addition, Salviathymol N acts on the mucous membranes in all parts of the mouth and throat raising their resistance against harmful bacteria. Daily oral hygiene with Salviathymol N has proved its value as a highly effective protection against plaque, periodontosis and caries. Salviathymol N hence provides ideal back-up for preventive dental care.

Inflammatory conditions involving the mouth and throat, and influenzal infections, can also be controlled from the outset by rinsing or gargling with Salviathymol N.

Salviathymol N has a pleasant, aromatic flavour and a refreshing taste.

Salviathymol N is outstandingly well tolerated and preserves the natural balance of the bacterial flora of the mouth. It is hence particularly well suited for longterm use, as part of the routine of daily oral hygiene.

And furthermore ....
The importance of thorough tooth brushing several times daily cannot be too often emphasized. Ask your dentist or pharmacist to advise you about the mode of dental care best suited for your needs. And do not forget: have a dental check-up
twice a year, even when you haven't got toothache.

Dosage guidance, mode and duration of use for adults and children over 12 years of age

Always use Salviathymol N exactly according to the instructions in this leaflet.

For gargling and rinsing the mouth, up to five times daily -- or more often if necessary -- use about 20 drops in half a glass of lukewarm water (about 60 ml). This amount should be sufficient for two minutes rinsing, that is 3-4 rinsings each time. The liquid should also be sucked through the spaces between the teeth, but should not be swallowed and the mouth should not be rinsed with water afterwards.

For gum massage apply carefully a few drops of Salviathymol N (undiluted if possible), for example with a cotton wool
bud.

For addition to dental water jets for daily oral hygiene, place a few drops or a larger amount of Salviathymol N in the container of the water jet, having previously filled it with water. After using the water jet rinse it out with clear water. The duration of use will be governed by the progress of the symptoms. Salviathymol N is also suitable for daily oral hygiene.
