Inactive ingredients
Cellulose Microcrystalline,
Crospovidone, Magnesium Stearate, Silicon Dioxide, Opadry OY-S-29038 clear,
Opadry OY-B-27603 grey, Calcium Hydrogen Phosphate.
Indication
As food supplement.
Dosage and Administration
Usual adult dosage is 1 tablet
daily after food or as directed by physician.
Side Effect
Rare : Allergic reactions,
including rash, pruritus, and anaphylaxis have been reported with vitamin
use. Bright yellow urine discolouration has been reported with riboflavin
usage.
Precaution
Pyridoxine may interact with
levodopa, but can be avoided if levodopa is given n combination with a
decarboxylase inhibitor.
Contraindication
Surbex-Zinc is contraindicated in
patients known to be hypersensitive to any of its components.
Signs of overdose
High dose of individual
components of this product have been associated eczematous and exanthematous
skin lesions, fatigue, and insomnia. Ingestion of excessive amounts of zinc
may lead to vomiting, dehydration, lack of muscle coordination, dizziness,
and electrolyte imbalance.
