Ucort cream

Ingredient(s)
Each gram contains:
Urea ..........................................100mg
Hydrocortisone Acetate ...............10mg

Action(s)
Ucort Cream contains 10% urea, which increases the water binding capacity of the stratum corneum. The Urea is combined with an emollient base that helps to retain existing skin moisture and maintains the skin in a soft and supple condition. Hydrocortisone Acetate is a glucocorticoid antiinflammatory agent which is effective in the treatment of various skin disorder.

Indication(s)
For the treatment of all dry ichthyotic, eczematous conditions of the skin, including atopic, infantile, chronic allergic and irritant eczema, asteatotic, hyperkeratotic and lichenified eczema, neurodermatitis and prurigo.

Dosage and Administration
A small amount should be applied topically, twice daily.

Precaution(s) / Warning(s)
Avoid contact with eyes. Discontinue use if irritation or rash occur. Should not be used on weeping surfaces. Caution should be exercised when using in children. In infants and children, long term continuous therapy should be avoided. Prolonged application to the face is undesirable. Pregnancy and lactation: There is inadequate evidence for safety in human pregnancy.

Contraindication(s)
Contraindicated in patients who have shown hypersensitivity to this drug.

Side Effect(s) / Adverse Reaction(s)
Topical application may be irritating to sensitive skin.

Symptoms and Treatment for Overdosage, and Antidote(s)
No any significantly toxic reaction in man by topical application.

Shelf-Life

3 years from the date of manufacture.

 

Storage Condition(s)

Keep in an airtight container.

Store at temperature below 30C.

Protect from light and moisture.
