No fuss, no pain

BRUISES are common during a child's growing years. Children often get bumps and knocks as they learn to walk. Getting bruised will be a daily occurrence on the knee, leg and elbow when the child is active in school too. There's an ancient Chinese belief that "A child will not grow without knocks."

What is a bruise ?

A bruise is an injury to the biological tissue in which the capillaries are damaged, allowing blood to seep into the surrounding tissue. the blood accumulates, forming a red, purplish mark on the skin which may lead to swelling.

Different bruise therapies

When children get bumped on the head, they will kick up a fuss. To pacify and help treat them, different therapies can be employed :

a) Thermal Therapy

This method utilizes hot rice or a hard-boiled egg wrapped in a handkerchief which is then gently rolled on the bruise. However, this is not advisable because it increases blood flow, which could aggravate the bruise. Furthermore, this causes discomfort to the children as they have to tolerate the heat from the handkerchief in addition to the pain from the bruise.

b) The Cold Method

Alternatively, if something cold is applied to the bruise, it is supposed to help reduce the swelling. This will slow blood flow to the bruise, reducing the swelling and inflammation.

c) Massaging with medicated oil

While this therapy may help dissolve the blood clot and speed up the healing process, this could worsen the injury.

Traditional belief concerning bruises

It is believed that when a bruise is not well treated, it will result in a permanent blood clot, resulting in aches and pains in later years. Other than that, it is also an ugly blemish on the skin.

Thankfully, there is an easier and better way in treating bruises with A-Bruzzy, a no-fuss, no-pain bruise healing gel.

A-Bruzzy contains anti-coagulant properties ( which help stop blood from clotting ) that assist the normal healing process. It achieves this by facilitating the transport of blood and accumulated fluid through its dilating action on the subcutaneous blood capillaries.

A-Bruzzy is a unique gel derived from natural resources. With both anti-coagulant and anti-inflammatory properties, not only is the healing process speeded up but the properties also help reduce the colour and swelling of the bruise.

A-Bruzzy is non-greasy, non-staining, non-stinging, and is easy to use. You no longer need to boil an egg or look for ice during an emergency. Most importantly, you do not need to massage the gel on to the bruised area which could incur more pain on your child. Just gently apply the gel on to the skin as it absorbs easily into the skin. Apply three times daily on the affected area until it heals or as frequently as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.
