Kelp and other seaweeds are the
great gifts from the sea. Kelp carries all the positive qualities of the
sea, strengthening the fluid base of the body, the water from which life
springs and in which it thrives. The iodine in kelp nourishes the thyroid
gland and so maintains good metabolism and glandular function. Its
moistening qualities help it to dissolve and remove stagnations such as
tumors and cysts, and catarrh in the respiratory tract in the form of sore
throat or cough. while strengthening the fluids, kelp's diuretic action
helps drain water or excess damp. It well illustrates the regulating and
balancing effect herbs have on the body in general. take kelp tablets as a
daily supplement and when you want to use it medicinally just grind them to
a powder to blend with other herbs. |
