WOLF SPIDER, TARANTULA SPIDER
Although often called tarantulas, wolf spiders come from a completely different
but just as fascinating family. They carry their eggs in a ball behind them and
navigate by the stars. The cubensis species of wolf spider is used in homeopathy.

Given by homeopaths (Tarentula cub.) for swellings and abscesses.
The trapdoor spider (Cteniza fodiens) is used in Chinese medicine for similar purposes, particularly for carbuncles and skin ulcers.

Wolf spider: homeopathic tablets. Trap door spider: as ash mixed with lard.
